LWRC, how does everyone feel about them. I am waiting the HK MR556, but I want a long arm for now, How does this look?

While HK makes just such a fine wepon, I have two HK 94s, I can highly recomend Bushmaster's as well I own an M4. If you want to reach out and touch someone than I would recomend Springfield M1A SEALS use the M14 version of it....Yes I own one...easly shoots to 500 yards accurately 7.62 round is very effective...And also in the 7.62 cat is the AR10, I don't own one of these but have shot one many of time, and excellent wepon..

LWRC is the beez fuckin neez dude. They are right around the corner and the company shows up when we do our big range shoots and brings their products. The only piston system out there that works, everything else is a copy of their design. We shot full auto, about 600 rounds in about 10 minutes, pulled the bolt out of the upper and it was able to be held in your hand, do that with any other piston or gas M4 and you will be going to the hospital with 3rd degree burns. If i could afford one i would get one, especially the REPR, buddy just got his 2 weeks ago. If you are not going the piston rought then there are better and cheaper choices for a AR, if you are going piston then recommend the LWRC. If not and looking for an AR then go Larue, Noveske, or hell build your own with billet upper and lower assemblies

oh and if you have that kinda of money to spend look into the Bushmaster ACR and get it decked out with 1:7 twist, not 1:9. Then 6 months from now sell it on gun broker for 1k over what you paid lol

lwrc is great...... there are on par with colt and the other well known names. their piston system is really good, and there bolt carriers are really good. it you want a DI ar15, the lwrc is a good bet, and you wont be upset about buying it.

what is the difference with the 1:7 vs 1:9 twist? And I have been looking into the ACR hard. I want one. But I need to choose well. I don't need alot of 5.56 rifles.

And I am looking into the springfield socom m14. I figure a M4, M16, M14, and a really long range bolt action with amazing optics and I will be ready for zombies.

On a side note I am buying a glock 19, P2000sk, P30, and maybe a usp 45 tactical then I am done with pistols, unless I see something I can't pass up. I have this next 12 months to buy all the toys I want, after that I am getting married and saving for a house. So have to make great choices now....and stick with them.

the 1:7 will stabilise more rounds. the 1:9 is about a 55gr to a 62 gr barrel, but anything heavier than that, it handles poorly. the 1:7 will handle them all well

HK45 beasts a stock 1911. It was designed by Larry Vickers. It lays down the rape. I do love 1911's though. But my HK45 hangs with them no problem, with 2 extra rounds and the ability to change backstraps. And they run the same price or cheaper than a high performance 1911.
