2 Things

1.) Finally got the Cobra out today since the weather was nice. Fixed the oil leak and put a new battery in her. But man did I miss driving that thing. Just hoping the weather will stay the same tomorrow so I can get it all cleaned up and purdy

2.) I'm officially going to Mexico again this year (End of May; May 28th to be exact). Flying into San Diego and my friend is picking us up there and driving us down to his estate in Ensenada/Baja, Mexico. Looking forward to seeing all the kids I helped out last year. I believe I'll also be building shower houses w/ indoor plumbing for the womens/children shelter. I'm really excited.

Anywho...

Back to your normal programming

Awesome!

Put that camera on a personal articles policy soon please. Don't want you coming back from Mexico saying someone walked off with your camera.

In most cases, yes. They should ask to see the camera, need a serial number, receipt and will ask you what you use it for - if you're ever paid for photography, etc....

Lefty, that's cool man. Is there an organization that you are working with or do you guys just go down when there is a project going on?

This will be my 4th time out here; and each time I've come out I do some Mission work if I can. I don't like to go anywhere without helping someway or another. I'm going to OC, NJ this year as well and I plan on spending an afternoon serving at the Atlantic City mission.

I'm going to try to call our agent tomorrow. My Dad thinks I may get it for free since there's something like that built into our homeowner's insurance policy.

Your camera will be covered under the personal property section of your policy - but typically subject to named peril coverages - theft would be a typical named peril - but dropping it or getting sand in it, wouldn't be covered.

You will also be required to pay your deductible - so it wouldn't be feasible to turn in a claim for that.

However - the personal articles policy typically gives you ALL Peril coverage - even dumb ass attacks are covered. And the best part - no deductible.

Yep - I gave you the "by the book" stuff - not all agents will ask all the same stuff. A lot of times it depends on the company and how well you know your agent....

I'm going to need more than $750, but at least that gives me a number. Maybe I should plan on like $150 or something...

I doubt it will cost that much.

Remember rates and companies will vary by state as well - but by in large, a PAP is a cheap way to cover stuff like this.
