I had our daughter out learning how to drive in it for an hour or so.

I took back over, and headed over to Walmart to get her a new blouse for a job interview she is going on tomorrow, and about 3 blocks from Wallyworld the brake pedal hit the floor. Popped the brake line that goes across the rear axle. Was fortunate not to have it happen while I had Taylor driving. lol

What sucks is I have a dentist appointment tomorrow, and I have to leave for work on Wednesday. The roads are shitty dirty, and I don't have the extra cash right this moment to put insurance on the Mustang. (I only keep fire & theft on it in the winter)

The last thing I feel like doing is laying under the Explorer replacing a brake line while my head is all frozed up. lol

Also if the brake line popped while your daugter was driving she would of learned about road emergencys and it would haave taught her a life lesson.

Kind of like when the power steering shut off in my dads car, and he told me to parrellel park...again.

I work for Ford... But I'm not making a guarantee that it's obsolete. Just general rule of thumb for Ford is about 10 years from the year it's made, they start to make things obsolete. Sooner if it's a less popular model.
