This weekend was especially rough, Madison was in the hospital again last night. She's home, and doing better, but still really sick. It's been more frequent so I'm glad she'll be getting the SCT soon. I had the opportunity to speak with a couple of parents who kids were leukemia survivors and they said the SCT tends to work oodles better with kids, so I'm very optimistic about her results.

If you had sent me your address for a card, they're going to have to wait a couple of days until she's back out of bed.

chocolate boost tastes better than chocolate ensure, though. that stuff was literally the only nutrition keeping me alive for a number of months.

i remember the doctors told me it'd take 4 bottles of boost a day just to keep me alive at the absolute bare minimum, too. i'd spend all day every day sipping on it drop by drop just to prove to them that i was ready to get that damn feeding tube out..

Aww Doc *big hugs* Thank you! I told her she gets chocolate drinks and she wants them now. I think I'm going to have to hide them so that they're not gone in a matter of minutes. Girl is a chocolate addict, I swear it runs in her biological family, my mother, her cousin, my sister.
