300 is an awesome movie!!

Hey guys, I just saw a sneak preview tonight at my university's theater. It was pretty damn cool. I was a little worried because I hated Sin City (same people) but this was pretty cool. If it doesn't get your blood pumping, nothing will.

There was a surprising number of girls there, I was expecting wall to wall fratties. Everyone loved it though, they couldn't shut up as soon as the credits rolled.

Definitely check it out when it drops this weekend!!

Thank you!! You're the only other person I've talked to that thought Sin City sucked. Even my gay roommate (not a good year. . .) thought Sin City was good. But then again, I'd rather watch any movie than take a dick up the ass, so maybe it's all relative to him .. .

Anyways, 300 is definitely cool. It doesn't suffer from that over the top cliche, story telling bullshit that Sin City had. It has some over the top moments, but that's because they're Spartans and they kick ass. You'll see in the first 3 minutes of the movie that these dudes aren't joking about anything. King Leonidas doesn't take shit from anyone, man or beast.

But yeah, enjoy it, don't worry about guys behind the camera this time. Plus it isn't in black and white, so that helps. There is a lot less of a comic book feel to the movie, although it is stylishly done.

I've never seen anything in imax, but if you have that available to you, I'd wait. It was a great movie. Normally I see about 3 movies a year in theater and I'll tell you now that I'll be paying to see this one a second time with my friends back home. Save it for the theater experience.

There's some serious titties going on in this one too. I almost pissed on myself laughing before one sex scene where the main character Spartan is standing in an open doorway naked in the moonlight. A lot of people giggled and this dude behind me yelled you "DON'T ACT LIKE YOU AREN'T IMPRESSED!"

well my situation sucks. I live in an all male dorm, so when my ex-girlfriend and the "new" ladies come, they have to leave by midnight, so next fall i am going to be in a co-ed dorm with 24 hour visitation. Right now i am stuck with about 500 guys and it pretty much sucks!

All these Freshman rules are so retarded!
