Ask and you shall receive...The Yamaha R1 is on my list as one of my favorite bikes to ride. I do not like the gauges on the Kaws. I like Metzler tires or Michilin pilot sport series...I am sure you are thinking, what the hell is Metzler? Well, it is a bombass tire...Check them out when you are ready for new tires.

You will know a busa when you see it! I have seen a few guys who got those hand shifter thingies....DAYUMMMM.

Anyway, you will find a new life and hobby on bikes, they are fun, great summer ride back and forth to work or something, and cruising...I have met some of my best friends on a bike man. Just be curteos to others, throw down the "motorcycle fingers" when you pass another bike, and stop and say hi when you see a bike or group of bikes sitting somewhere....they will welcome you. Like i said, i made tons of friends riding on my bike...My dad always says "a motorcycle is just a down payment on accessories"...It is true with all the gear and parts you will buy....Most importantly, just have fun man.

Yeah, I had a buddy a few yrs back that rode aahhh heemmm... Harleys. Not my fav by any stretch. But if I EVER had a problem and couldn't find a solution, yeah, he had about 30 that he could call for me...

Bikers of any variety are probably the closest nit bunch of life out there.

Now, before I get yelled at, I am NOT dissin the Mustang crowd. BUT, I am new here. You all have taken me in pretty damn nicley. Hence the "probably" in my statement...

if i was going to get a bike to start out on it would be the yamaha R6 & then i would eventually upgrade to the R1.. the R1 really blows the suzukis out of the water in all around riding.. my best friend had an 05 R1 & had cam upgrades, valves, port & polish a bunch more engine work & had a full graves exhaust & that thing would blow away the busa's.. plus it did it looking better as well... yeah bus'a are all cool in straight lines, but the fun stuff on a bike is carving corners at high speed & having a nice lightweight, powerful bike kicks ass..

just be carefull, my dad always said "there are 2 types of motorcycle riders, ones that have crashed & ones that will crash."
