i do air conditioning work and work with a 70 something year old man, a 28 year old, a 22 year old, and my dad/boss a 52 year old. i dont have complaints against any of them. the 70 year old is the hardest worker i have ever seen. it retired and got bored of being at home so came back to work. but theres this one guy whos an overseer for one of our builders. hes supposed to do work but he stand around all day bitching and complaining about how he had to force himself to get up for work this morning. he cant carry a 2x4 without being out of breath, smokes like 800 cigs a day. and his lazy ass has the balls to come up into the attic where were all working and tells us to turn off our radio because he doesnt allow music on his jobsites..... -_- /rant fucking lazy ass people. i work my ass off and only get a fraction of what he gets.

When I worked at a parts store, there was this kid that "thought" he knew it all. He is a rice fan. Good kid, just retarded. Anyway, he has this customer in front of him and the cust. has a "97 Mits Eclipse GS-T. (FF DOHC, Turbo). The cust. asks how much a set of PUSHrods are. The kid starts lookin the stuff up, and well, guess what. No pushrods are listed. Then, oh yeah, its true, my coworker looks over to me and says "Dude, where are the pushrods listed in the computer?"

lol freaking kids. im assuming you click on each main component(engine in this case) and then you see the parts from there?

No. Its set up to where you select the year, make, model, engine. Then a different set up windows opens and its got the main type of component listed in ABC order. Ie; Chassis: then all the chassis parts are listed, ball joints; upper/lower, tie-rod ends; inner/outer, idler arm, shocks/struts etc. For the engine, it lists a complete assy. then it goes in ABC order. bottom, top etc. Pushrods are in the engine;top catagory. He looked there, but it didn't show a listing.

The store is Advace Auto Parts. If ya got one near ya, check it out. Tought to explain. lol

Congrats! I have not seen a raise in 3 years and my insurance went up and my pension program was just ended. I will have to use a 401k and put as much into as I can. So I am glad to hear when others get a chance to move upwards.

I hate going into a store knowing what I want and getting it then find myself at the counter behind a "Crank Case" Idiot suffering from misfire on a cellphone who is talking to someone who is dumber than him trying to order something while the guy behind the counter just stands there looking through me, wishing he was out cruising all the while knowing I wish I was out of the place too putting the parts I have in my hand on a car that I don't drive so I can go out cruising too.

Hang up the friggn' phone and go back to the shop and get the @#$% out of my way.

When I get my turn I look at the pile of things on the counter I discover that I forgot something, can't remember what it was...I pull out the cellphone and start to dial....
