hey everyone... i'm havin trouble findin my friend a car... we wanna go around town scaring the other "street racers" (and occasionally winning).. We're sorta trying to make a racing clique lol

The Problem:
-nuthin over 6k (just cost of car)
-gr8 starting point (fast b4 mods only 2 get better)
-afraid to say it, but he doesn't mind ricey-ness... he just want quick and dirty way to get speed

::I know I'm retarded for askin here.. but plz imagine ur first car was a 86 honda civic so u can get into his mind-set::

and he's aimin for more classy than muscley lol

any suggestions?

so far he's interested in the acura integra, and mitsu eclipse, but we cnt find em cheap enuff..

heh... a GSR Integra is going to be faster than a Focus or a V6 Mustang though... and a since GSR's have been around since 92, skipped 93 and have been around from 94-01, you can find them everywhere for cheap.

An early to mid 90s V6 Mustang is not even remotely quick, sorry guys but it's true, and the latter V6s cost more than 6k to purchase.

Friend had a GSR, very nice fast car IMHO. Now he has a 99 Eclipse GSX, not a bad car (for turbo), but he can't shift fast lol.

I'd think that you could get a 94-98 GT for about 6k, or even a fox body..

just keep looking around. it took me 8 months to find the car i wanted. when i saw this gorgeuos babe drive up in a black stang i knew it was mine

its real difficult to find a fox in good condition though. i checked out many cars that were far faster than mine but werent in the best of condition so i ended up with a semi-reliable v6
oh and criket the car -_- she was married to a man with an m3 and nsx...

It's difficult to find a Mustang in good condition. A lot of people think because it's a decently priced car that it doesn't pack a punch. Am I saying that Mustangs are fast stock? Def not, but it's enough power for quite a few people to not be able to handle. Also in bad conditions a lot of people can't handle the power of the v6 and all the power going to one wheel.

I say if he can find a good foxbody jump on it, but if he likes his tegs def go for a GSR.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I happen to find tegs which are done up nicely very respectable. In fact I wanted a GSR but couldn't find one, so I settled on the Si.
