St. Patty's Day Poker Cruise

Well me and the rest of my mustang club gang up here in WA had ourselves a little 5 card draw poker cruise for St. Patrick's Day. For those who've never done this, I suggest doing so, it's awesome. There were 40 cars, and at $5/hand the pot was over $200. No I didn't win, I didn't even get second, and I had 4 Jacks! Unbelievable though, so many cars showed. Here's a few pics, thought I'd share (note: me and my digital camera don't get along too well sometimes, thus some blurry shots).

and here's one for you 3V guys/gals...

Nice. My local crew has done stuff like that. We had a Toys for Tots cruise and then ate at a restaurant. I will type up something like this sometime. Maybe not St. Patties but maybe another weekend...

I will add the poker though for sure. I like poker. LOL

Yeah we do a bunch of other stuff like this, usually one cruise per month (during the good months, of which we only have 5 or 6 up here in Seattle, lol). Last month we cruised 2 hours to a winery and did some wine tasting. Pretty cool. I'll be sure to bring my camera to these things 'cause there are some Amazing mustangs, cougars, and fairlanes in our club.

There's nothing better than when you are sitting at a stop light with 50+ Mustangs lined up in front/behind you and every passer by is drooling over the greatness of such a sight. Makes me happy at least

heh heh, I'm the only member of my club (over 100 members) under the age of 25... so that means a lot of the people are out of shape, lol, so we don't do too many "active" activities.

My favorite cruises, or places to go park our stangs for lunch, would be Hooters. lol. There's a bunch of 'em around here and sometimes we'll go from one hooters to the next. Now those are good times

we tried hooters but we never got enough seats...When it warms up we go to this outside restaurant that has like a car gathering on a certain day...it seems every brand of car is there and they are sweet.

We got about 700 members, and most do not post, but the ones that do are the kind that like to hang out and get together and do other stuff. I am only 19 so i feel like a youngin, but they gave me a warm welcome and now i feel part of the group.

Damn, so you can't even go grab a beer with your car buddies yet, lol. Yeah I definitely learn a thing or two being around guys who've been into mustangs for over 40 years. It's just a lot of fun.

haha yeah that's no good. When I was younger (ha now I sound like my dad, damn it) I had my share of bone-head moves - and all those speeding tickets of mine will shortly be off my record for good, and I'm counting the days until cheaper insurance

(drinking + driving = not good... just ask my 25 year old neighbor kid who was struck by one in our neighborhood 3 years ago... he now is back in the 4th grade.)
