sirius radio?

ok heres the deal. Im thinking about getting sirius radio and i can get a hell of a deal on the unit cuz i work at a place that sell them. Do any of you guys have it? Do yall like it? Im just wondering if the 12 a month is worth it. I am going to get the streamer replay and the home docking cradle. thanks

I've had XM for roughly 4 years now, and love it! I've heard equally good things about Sirius.

Don't quote me on this but didn't Sirius just merge with XM? Wonder how this'll turn out in the months/years to come.....?

I own 3 Sirius units, and I will never be without them again. Ever. It's worth it for the music selection alone, never mind the sports & talk radio & comedy that you get with it as well. I highly recommend it; you will love it.
The merger with XM is pending approval by Congress.

Oh can't you just smell Capitalization in our country (well, my country at least zippe, lol) getting stronger by the day? If congress does approve it, it'll be interesting to see how they merge the two different satellite systems together.

Last I heard, coverage wasn't available here, same as the DirecTV on the car, then again, that was when it started. don't know know

I have heard of people getting coverage in other places besides the continental US. Hell, it works for me when I'm 2/3 of the way up the province of Saskatchewan, and that's a long ways up there lol

Well, I don't have to pay a monthly subscription for my iPod, and besides, the longest trip I can do is maybe a 6 hour trip... the island is only 100 miles long, by 37miles wide...

Jesus man! I thought I was bad when I drove 60 miles to work, just to get there and hop in the truck to drive another 200, just to drive all the way back home. Hands down, you win

I still listen to a lot of the FM stations (getting back on track here...) simply for the DJs - that's the one thing XM has to work on still. They have a great variety of stations, from country to techno, but some of the djs I just want to shoot from time to time.

lol yeah.....although I only do it once a week; drive to work, park the car, drive the truck for 4 1/2 days, then drive home.
