R.I.P ...READ PLEASE....this is why i have been away

I dont know how to explain how i feel except for the fact that you never think its going to happen to you till it happens and your world is changed forever.

This is my 20 year old youngest brother he died on my Moms bday July 13 the day before his 21st bday but it was stated as a non-combat death and no other answers. Im so furious because im slowly getting information about what all he went through and what the ARMY let happen to him over there. He was headed home in 2 1/2 weeks and as his facebook shows all he wanted was to come home and see his family. He had a 3 month old son he never got to see and an 18 month old little girl.

I think it wouldnt be so hard to understand and try to handle if he died durring battle or something combat realated but to be found dead in his Barracks room in Kandahar no sir that is not enough of an answer for my family we will push till we get the truth.

this is what pisses me off the most and he will have justice

Pfc. Nathaniel D. Garvin, 20, a helicopter mechanic assigned to the 101st Airborne Division's Combat Aviation Brigade, died Monday of injuries sustained from a noncombat-related incident in Kandahar, Afghanistan, according to the Defense Department.
No further details were provided. Two family members said military personnel were still investigating his death and even they weren't sure what happened.

I actually started this thread because i want to know how to get information that they wont give me and i want everyone know what happened to him. One way or the other i will get the thruth even if it takes me the rest of my life. I SWEAR ON EVERYTHING I LOVE!

so sorry for you guys loss, and i thank him for his sacrifice.... really is terrible that you cannot get information as to what lead to his death. just be patient, and the information will come. i'm sure its extremely difficult to do just that, but be strong, and have lots of patience

I feel for you. I know what it's like and it's the worst feeling in the world. Like everyone else said, keep your head up high and don't be angry. The information will come out, it's a slow process..
