i gotta 65 dollar fine today cause i guess its illegal to hav ne thing on ur headlights (i got smoked covers)! this is very annoying!

It's a secondary offense usually. Hey I gotta change my tail lights. I found out today they aren't DOT or SAE stamped. I hate that I gotta spend money on something that is for looks, and not power. I was pretty much done with looks cept for a couple things.

Is there any way you can just take them off and then ask for the fine to be reduced or anything? I am not for sure but that is an idea. Sucks man i know...I got a $125 ticket for a headlight out one time...That sucked!

That sucks dude. A cop tried to tell me my head lights weren't DOT stamped but I think he was just blind I had to point at it and he had to run his hand over it to read it.
