Same thing happened to me a month or so ago...But the only damage to mine was fu**ed up rim and a popped tire.

And for the comment about just hitting the guy. Yep, that is what i should have done as well! It sucks because i wanted to chase the fucker and then beat his ass but i couldnt go anywhere with my rim effed up and my tire popped...Shitty thing is, I put on the spare, rated for 55 mph. I didnt go above 40 mph and it popped ten miles down the road!

Not necessarily. Rear ending someone isn't always an at fault accident.

He would have been better off hitting the car than the curb. After the police report and two insurance claims, his ins. company would have been repaid by the other persons company, now his ins. company has to take the loss completely on their shoulders and his rates might go up.

This is why I f'n hate insurance companies and f'n retards on the friggin road. What sucks is when they don't have insurance. My first accident this bitch was turning N and I was going E. The best part about it was that there was a cop right there. The bitch was driving a newer Ranger with 4 kids in the FRONT SEAT WITH NO SEAT BELTS, INCLUDING A FRIGGIN BABY!!!!!!!!!!!! She had No liscense (suspended), No insurance, and failure to yield, so she's paying $2300 to me for a $750 car. I didn't go to the hospital, should've, but my friend in the pass. seat did.

But enough of my pissed off ranting lol, just saying I was in the same predicament, which I doubt I'll see any of that money in this lifetime. Maybe I can kinda pursue just sucking the money out of her, since she tried to say NOT GUILTY and use her kid as a witness lol. Judge passed that off right away, awesome judge

But I hope that you get out of it okay, it really sucks when that happens, ++ to someone that is part of the community.

Ouch. If your windshield is cracked you may have frame/unibody damage. I hope you get her fixed up nicely when all is said and done bro.
Just make sure you find someone who can tell you if there is any structural damage to the car.
