Overall, it was a shitty experience. I mean sitting in a drunk tank for 12 hours isnt cool, listening to a drunk guy snore for half the time, getting slammed with a $559 fine, and the fact that it will be on my record for a while! But as my buddy tells me. "That is just an expensive memory!"

sux about the situation. sounds like he may have been a little over zealous, but when a cop does something you dont resist. trying to move your arms to a more comfprtable spot can very easily be considered resisting. even if it hurts, and a cop tells you to do something, YOU DO IT. su she was put in that situation and if you were smart you should probably get some legal advice as no one on here is qualified to give you any kind of legal advice.
doesnt sound like she was actually arrested. she might have held becuase the officer thought for some reason he was in a bad situation. i dont know all of the specifics. he doestn have to read you your rights unless hes taking you to jail. also did this guy have a car or anything that had a video camera in it

they took me to jail and didnt read me my rights. then in jail the cop told a female cop he was gonna take me out back and fuck me in the ass. which thank god he didnt try or id have a felony for assault on an officer. but all in all cops(in jail mainly) are assholes. this one cop was tellign everyone what to do and he said do not speak and this guy raised his hand the cop told him to speak and the guy said this guy next to me doesnt understand english can i translate for him(the mexican guy was looking around clueless) the cop said yes and the guy started speaking in spanish and the cop ran up and threw him against the wall and hit the guys head on the wall. if you go to jail you lose any respect you may have had before.
