I'm looking at getting another handgun for protection. My 9mm is nice, bu I want a .45, and also my .357 is a little unconventional for strickly protection in my mind. My girlfriend is perfectly alright with my guns, its the knives she doesnt like. Kinda odd if you ask me. I don't know much about that XD, but it does look nice.

what type of .357 do you have? my ruger gp100 is ideal for home defense, doesn't get any simpler than point and click, and my .357 has more pop than my 1911 .45

i promise you it doesnt have more "POP" and do you mean a ruger sp101? anyways the .45 is oprolly the best combat load. and if you using something for just in house only get ta a rem 870 with an 18 in barell. anyways you cant go wrong with any of the suddestions they are all good guns just stay away from highpoint. they are cheap and as with cars you get what you pay for!

.357 blackhawk. Beautiful gun. I'll get pictures of all them soon.

Damn drgn, you really know your stuff, I can second him on the glock, theres a site floating aroud, where a guy tried his best to get a glock to jam. First burried it in sand, still worked, let it rust in salt water, worked fine, he even threw it out of a plane, found it burried in the ground, dug it out and fired it right on the spot. Everyones always reccomended a glock.

I always thought glocks were only 9mm, I guess I was wrong. Im going to the NYPD next year and can you reccomend some stuff to me drgn?

Do you ever modify any guys too?

my glock 21 is modified. its the gun i shoot in competitions. its got a binch fo stuff done to it. anyways are you a cop. if so i bet their standard issue is a glock 21. so would sya that or maybe a good solid 1911 if they wil let ya carry that?

oh and glocks dont rust becasue of the finish they have molecularly (or however the fuck you spell it) bonded to the metal!
