if you are lookin for wrecked cobras n' such to get the parts for your car... you should just hit up all the junk yards... they always got good stuff there..

yea thats what i would recommend
i wanted to swap everything over from a cobra to an 01 ranger but i sold it and got an 06 v6 mustang that would have been bad thought i might still have to do that one day

I don't know what you're looking to do with this cobra you hope in finding, but regardless, I doubt there will be 1 or 2, if any, cobras in a junk yard anywhere. Not to burst your bubble of hope here, but the odds are REALLY stacked against you if you plan on finding such a prestigious car at a scrap/junk yard.

- - It's been my experience in looking for a few interior parts for my car that not only are there no junked cobras lying around anywhere, but there aren't really any mustang gt's either. some 6ers that somebody didn't care about, but around these parts, late model mustangs are hard to come by in junk yards (as it should be, mustangs are not, after all, junk) - -

I remember someone posting something about this wrecked cobra that came in to a salvage yard not too long back and it was completely stripped in a day or two.

try prestige mustang salvage...they have a bunch on cobras they buy wrecked 1's all the time...there web site is www.prestigemustange.com

What are you looking for exactly. You said wrecked so you probably want the engine and some interior stuff...Check corral. Go to the modular classifieds. I am tempted to buy me a cobra motor myself! There are pretty damn good deals because people are modding their cobras and sell the stock long block and basically anything you would want.
