FIX MY STANG FUND! jk but if your willing to donate...

I walked out to my car after work this morning (i work nights) and i saw scratches on my car. I thought it had to be because I am sick and EXTREMELY TIRED so I drove home thinking it was just a reflection or something. I took a couple hours nap and I went back out. I couldnt sleep thinking my car was actually damaged by some jealous mofo who prob drives a a chevy or worse yet...ricer or something...
I just got back from the body shop and they are wanting $900 to fix this. Yes i have insurence but i have a $1000 dedectuable or however you spell that for comp. so its all on me. There went getting true duals my CAI and i guess the T-lok....sobs....

before you pay to get that painted try some rubbing compound on it first.
it doesn't look like it went to the metal.

yeah it doesn't look like they went deep enough to mess up the paint... i'd say try to buff it out first.....

looks can be deceiving...
they are rather deep and no i do not think it hit the metal but how could a rubbing compound fix paint?
they guy at the paint shop said it was too deep for a key it looks like a putty knife or an actual blade was used. I think someone at work hates me though. 4 days ago there was a nail in my tire. then this south of the border guy HIT my car with his truck. lucky for him no pain was traded or I think I would be in jail right now!

Wow, enough with the hating on mustangs over there! Or hating you, anyway.

If its not down to the metal then just give it a few really good wax jobs over the next month/month and a half and they should fade. You don't really want to have your car painted unless it REALLY needs it. Good money like that can go elsewhere.

No I really do think someone is out to get me. I swear on all that is Mustangly...I think its personal because I do not let the people under me have any slack. All I ask for is the work to get done and once its done sure have fun, but I have to ride their butts all night long. *sighs* maybe i should just go buy a POS like a kia or something and drive it too work.

the compound "scratches" the paint and blends it together and the polish and wax take out any blemishes and protects the paint.

Hey man dont repaint it just do the compoun and wax thing. I learned this lesson awhile back: Paint doesn't make a car fast and with a Mustang you'll be such a blur to everyone that they wont be able to tell and they couldn't care less when their stupified by how fast you are.

no it doesnt make it fast but its a brand spanking new car. you dont want to ride around in something that doesnt look good.
man that really blows. tell someone at the company and maybe they will pay for it since it happened in their parking lot. or maybe they can put up security cameras.

There is already security cameras everywhere BUT they (the security) claim they didnt see anyone when THEY reviwed the cameras. When i asked to watch with them they said "You do not have access to our secuirty room". So i doubt that they even tried to look or review the camera. So I am just SOL.
A couple years back a guy lost his Tires/rims while he was working. He asked security for a look or for them to see if they seen anyone. Same answer and they said they saw no one. 4! FOUR tires gone...he was up on blocks when he came out. The "secuirty" at my place is just like cops man...they do nothing unless its just to harrass us.

its ass holes like these kind of people that force me to buy a DD instead of my mustang... to many risks. call me over protective, but when you put forth time and money into something, and some little douche cunt comes alonge, i'd hunt them down myself.

Call the police and have them review the tapes and tell your work that they should pay for it because the don't have a safe place to park your car. If they don't, you could sue them. I would only do that because they seem to be ass wipes.

I'm sorry for what happened to your car man, but where do you guys live lol? is it like a ghetto or some thing over here I see super cars that cost over 100k and they sit in the parking lot with out a problem. If I was you I would get a viper alarm system for your car then buy a video camera then see what happens. If nothing happens try to set the bitch up by asking your friend with a nice car/ or rental : ) to park their and see if any one comes over and does any thing if they do you have proof and get those bitches locked up!
