i got a highschool buddy that ive known for a couple of years and its been a lil over a year since we got out of school,we used to be best friends and even though of using the buddy system in the military. at some point, idk when he jus started droppin me off slowly, now i cant remember the last time we hung out, he doesnt return my phone calls or texts and says he never got them, he lives about 30 min away and works 5 min, has tons of friends he visits that live around me even one that i can see from my house and yet he will never stop by. personally if i lived a good distance away from my friends, and im in the area then im gonna visit a couple of them if i have the time

the point of this is that im not sure if thats part of growing apart or is he just ignoring me?

a mutual friend and i went over his house awhile ago and me n him traded video games, ive been trying to trade back but hes jut been dodging me or "forgetting" to put the game in his car when he comes around here or goes to work. today i was on xbox with the mutual friend and he gets on the mic for a lil, then switches back to the other guy, i ask the mutual friend to ask him when can trade? and he says when will i come to his house, i was like WTF? i only go to his area to visit my aunt once in awhile and when i do i text him to see if he wants to chill but he never replies

so do i keep trying to be nice and try to still be friends after we trade games back or should i go over his house when he should be home ad get my game and tell him a few things?

Just ignore him. Ive lost contact with almost all the people I graduated highschool with except one.

When you get older you lose alot of old friends but you make new ones. 18-20 is a hard age if you dont go to a big college or something. Because all of your friends you used to know are meeting new people at their colleges and your doing the same. So everyone just loses contact. Once you graduate college you'll be in the same boat again until you get a job and start meeting new friends. Hell I got like two people I would consider friends to hang out with. I get along with everyone at work, but everyone there is old enough to be my parent. Im the youngest by at least 20 years.

I went through what you are about a year ago, and it sucks. You get used to it tho and start adjusting.
