Drove a 2010 Nissan R35 GTR two hours ago

So I went into work at 10a.m this morning to get the AWD dyno ready for the Nissan GTR this guy was bringing in. Thinking is was going to be a normal morning with just strapping the car down and then unstrapping it and going home. Well thats how it started

The guy got there and I was hoping it was going to be a white car..and it was! Looked FUCKING sick in white!

Got the car strapped down and we started the 3 power pulls.

First one was just with the stock tune and a o/r midpipe and I forgot the other mod..nothing crazy. Car made 450awhp and 490awtq.

Second run was the a tune loaded into it from a Nissan Performance shop in Florida...this was an e-mailed tune. Car made 548awhp and 593awtq!

Third run with a 10 mins cool down the car made 557awhp and 600awtq

Fucking crazy with an e-mail tune!

When they were getting ready to leave I asked the guy's son if I could go for a ride. He said sure and while we were backing off the dyno he said something about letting me take it for a spin...I was like "Wha?!"

We got on the road in front of the shop and stopped. He turned the launch control on and launched from 2500rpms. This thing shot off! You could feel the G's in your chest. It was fucking crazy. By the time you can comprehend what is happening we were at 80mph!

Then we turned around and he asked if I wanted to drive it...well fuck yeah I did, so we switched seats and I got back on the straight going back towards the shop. I stopped and he said just put your foot on the brake and press the gas then then car will hold the rpms at 2500rpms and when you are ready just stomp the gas and let of the brake. I got the rpms up and did as told with the pedals. HOLY FUCK! It shot out and before you know it your shifting. I was surprised...I got a perfect shift on the 1-2 shift.(paddle shifter i'll mind you) and a slightly short shift on the 2-3. I held it throw 3rd and a little into 4th.

It was a hell of a drive! Didn't hold a stick to the 360 Ferrari I drove a few months back.

I didn't get any...to busy with the car on the dyno.

I was amazed how the e-mail tune helped it out.
