I hate feeling like crap
The area where your arch, and heel meet has really been bothering me. I bought some inserts and they do a little but not much. Lately, its seems to be little more centered on my heel, though the arch hurts like a bitch still. The past week though my Achilles has been bothering me as well. Even as of right now its throbbing some while typing this. Has anyone had this problem, and care to give some insight on what i can do till the doc can see me in the week or 2?

https://health.google.com/health/ref/Plantar+fasciitis trust me i know i have it and it sucks ass. put your feet up for a while and step back down on it and it feels like someone shot you in the foot. it sucks. i had to get special inserts from a foot doctor and they help some but for the most part i just get used to the pain. |

Have you changed your daily activities?
What do you think you are doing to have started this? Icing can help. Topical creams such as Ben Gay could be useful. But above all, seeing a podiatrist should be your first order of business. |

yea youll get numbing pain up your leg from it. its a tendond that runs along the base of your foot and conects with the rest of them in your leg. it sucks. if its not too bad a major round of drugs will help. they will tell you to do streches to strech it out which will make it feel tons better. need to do them 3 times a day at least.
face a wall arm lenght away put one foot against the wall and keep the other where its at keep your back straight and make your knee touch the wall basically streching the back leg keeping the foot flat. you will feel the calf muscle strech. dont worry about making it all the way to the wall on the bad leg just go as far as you can and hold it for 10 seconds per foot 3 times. the calf strech ilustration on this page shows what i mean. http://www.footminders.com/plantar-f...exercises.html |

that is a factor in causing it yes. actually thats one of the factors i got it. im a lard ass. that and spending multiple years standing and wearing fire boots which have no insoles pretty much.

I was hoping the new job i've had now the past year would help stretch thing's out from the walking, installing head stones *that has helped in the arm/upper back area, pulling a granite headstone that weighs 250 ilbs stuck in mud is no joke* and other various job's like lawn work would do wonders for me. I was told from dad it was most likely going to be one of the three.. 1. Inserts, Stretches 2. Meds 3. Surgery 3 is not a option. I can't sit out 3-6 months like i did with my back. I'd kill myself not being able to bear the responsibility of not taking care of my kids like i did with my back. The family helped, but asking for Financial help or really much of any help just isn't in my vocabulary. |

inserts and streches is all i do man and my feet still bother me but not near as bad as they did. i can go all day without being in pain with the inserts. their a little sore but not unbearable at all. one piece of advice if you go to a doctor. if they want to stick a needle full of cordisone in your foot tell them and i quote "fuck no your out of your mind" they did to me and it was one of the worst pains ive ever felt lol.

I had this before. It was a major pain in the ass. The reason I got was because I was walking 4 to 9 miles a day, and I wasn't using the best shoes to do it. Defiantly learned my lesson on that one.
