Debating next car purchase

I'm debating between getting an 03/04 Cobra or an 06-08 Vette. I'm pretty much leaning towards the Cobra, but still debating it. I'm only going to finance 20k, so the rest will have to come out of pocket...think my max is about 27k or so. If I go the Cobra route, I'd probably want something stock...have had bad luck in the past buying other peoples project cars. I can't buy anything for another month, so right now I'm doing research.

I like both, but i think in the end you will be happier with the Cobra. Sure there are things you can mod with the Vette, but no where nea as much as you can with a Mustang, especially when it comes to looks. Most Vettes look the same, but most Mustangs are modded to look exactly how the owner wants, and very few (serious) Mustangs look the same. Maybe its because this is a Mustang forum, and i have Mustang, but i like the Cobra better, just my 2 cents

Aside from the fact that I hate the headlights on the cobra, it does have 20k less miles on it than the vette, giving the cobra my pick. If im about to drop 20k+, i would want to get the best deal on a car as far as mileage.

On the flip side, if you arent concerned with looks and being different from others, the vette could possibly be a good choice for you. Those LS motors are good motors that make good power.

What do value more - looking unique and tailored to your tastes while being fast, or being faster and having something that isnt all that unique (besides the fact that its a vette and everything

)

I like the way both cars look stock, so I doubt that I'd do any cosmetic mods to the car, outside of maybe rims. I'm more into creature comforts, and fun to drive aspects. One thing that holds me back from saying absolutely yes to the Vette is the interior...looks very fake and bland IMO. Both of the cars I posted earlier are just examples...should have put that in my first post...those are the colors that I like for each car.

Nah, not really...but just like everything else, the moment I get rid of something that I don't use, I'll probably start needing lol.
