Im a probie for the FD

Got my gear last night.

Need 20 hours in house before I can respond to calls, I plan to have that within a week.

150 Hours for FireFighter 1 intend to have that within 6 months

400 Hours for FireFighter 2 well I'm going to get it soon, maybe a year?

Still going to school for my bachelors degree in Fire Science, almost have my Associates!

Im pretty stoked, dropped down from working 2-4 days to only fridays.

My fire school is next weekend!

Dad is good his stent took care of his chest pain his breathing has gotten better. Mom is doing ok.

He said he got his 20 in a week and a half. Then told me he had his FF1 in 6 months so Im shooting for 7 days for my 20 and under 6 for my FF1

I've been around the Fire House for about 3 weeks it seemed nice.

Last night once I got accepted it was like a new family I knew most FF's were close but dang. It was like they accepted me off the bat, they are all sooooo nice but they take their stuff serious!!

Cant blame them I wouldn't want them goofing off when it comes to training that guy behind me might have to pull me out!

I'll update you on how I like it!! So far love it.
