mad people

Back where Im from its very normal for a person to throw their hand up as they're passing another car as a friendly gesture and then that person throws their hand up in return. Whats up with the people out here. Alot of times I'll throw my hand up while passing someone in a GT or a Cobra, or a V6 too, and some of them just look at me while we pass each other like they're mad and surprised that Im giving them a friendly gesture. Whats up with this? Its funny. Do any of you guys do that?

you're cool man. Even if I was raised out here in Cali I would return the gesture to another stang.

I don't even look to the sides when driving unless I'm switching lanes... I'm always focused on the road *shrug* hell, I've had friends stop beside me on a light and I never notice. He told me at the restaurant that he was calling at me but I was focused looking forward lol.

Well, the only time I let my eyes off the road is when I gotta switch a song on the radio, or pick up the cellphone, though I ussually have it on vibrate so I can't here it or feel it when its on the cupholder.

When no one is ahead of me I have to fight myself not to punch the gas pedal.

I know exactly what you're talkin about, I wish they had a special road near every city reserved for people to go as fast as they want, out in the middle of nowhere outside the city, that would be awesome

Around in my area, more and more mustang guys are revving at each other instead of waving.

I wave at every cobra out there and 9/10 times granted they see me, they'll wave back.... however for some reason you gt or v6 guys don't seem to care about waving back at me (at least those of you in the Sea-Tac area).

We don't rev here - cops have REALLY and I do mean REALLY cracked down on street racing of any sort, so any revving (especially if you've got exhaust, or a nice 4V heh heh) will getcha a little fine in the mail - even if you weren't racing or even if there's nobody next to you so you couldn't possibly be racing, WA state just wants everybody to be safer behind the wheel.

Waving, everyone should do it. When I had my old CJ-5 all us Jeepers waved; mustangs, not the same story unfortunately ...

eh.. they're there to help. I can't complain, I deserved my speeding tickets because I was speeding. 9/10 people who fight tickets probably deserved 'em anyways, for something or other. Don't mind me here but I just hate it when people shit on cops for shit's sake - I mean come on, they put their lives on the line to keep us safe n all, I think they deserve a little recognition. There are a few bad cops out there though, no doubt about it.

Washington state has had street racing problems for years and our mortality rate caused in vehicular accidents is the highest per-capita in the United States, so I commend our legislature here for implementing higher standards of their officers. Everywhere you turn here there are No-Racing Zone signs posted, and fines in these zones are well into the thousands of dollars... so you won't see me revving my engine anytime soon, unless you pay a visit to Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA

hell yeah. I've been doing my part in starting the trend in my neck of the woods. Just seems to me that half of mustang owners don't care what it is they are driving, and the Mustang is just another car. Those people can kiss my ass, lol... as for the rest of us, keep on wavin'

in my parts of the woods ive waved at about 50 or so stangs and have so far roughly been completley ignored by have gotten dirty looks from a fourth and gotten the finger from some how sad i say we get a sticky going and see how far we can go who knows in the future you could say wow every pony owner waves at one another like harleys do and i know how it started mm.com could be the founding father of friendly pony owners everywhere hahaha

I just think gettin a fine for revvin your car (whether or not a car is around u) is stupid, unless your revvin up when near some houses late at night or in the morning
