I'm almost an owner
Well I may be 6 days away from being an owner of a 2001 GT Coupe, Black, 56000 miles on her. I just ran a Car Fax on her and it came back with no diseases. It's about 116 miles from my house so I have to wait till Saturday when I am off to test her. [/img]

That's cool.
I got a 2000 Silver GT a few months ago for 9,000. It had 80,000 miles on it. I was really surprised when I ran the carfax on it and not a thing came up, then I ran all the cars we had had and they were full of stuff. The car's pretty much perfectly maintained, not a thing wrong, and had a few add-ons. Reason I mention that is because I am interested about how much it cost you, If you don't mind. Good luck, make sure to tell us how it goes. |

The Test drive went really well
Ok, so I drove 153 miles down to the 2001 Gt Coupe, 5-speed. It has 56,000 miles on it. I cannot lie, the pictures compared to seeing this black beauty were not close. The owner really paid attention to detail in taking care of this Stang. I was holding in my smile the closer I got to her. The engine was clean. It already has a CAI in it. Interior very clean and black leather. Exteriror, not one ding. About a palm size oxidation on the spoiler. Owner immediately said, he'll take off $300 for it since MAACO estimated repair at $250 +. It has a King Cobra clutch, windows are tinted and he just bought a brand new car cover that is coming with the deal.
Took her for a drive and it was all smiles. She is exactly what I've been looking for. I just gotta think of a name for it so if you got any ideas for my personalize tag, shoot it at me. We settled at 11,500. I'm very happy with that and so was he. I have to drive back down there on saturday to give him the cashiers check that I'm waiting on to come in the mail and then it is on. Thank all of you for your feedback on Coupe vs Convertible. |
