I dont know about the duramax itself, but allison transmission has what it takes.

Yea idk about all that baby ford stuff.

The powerstrokes iv raced and seen will rip most of the cars on this forums balls off and spit them back out and ask for seconds.

im not getting all butthurt, its just a tv commercial

just odd they're calling out ford on not having "experience" when f series has sold better then every other truck 33 years, and they have more power then chevy, towing capacity ect.

They take in the v6 150s with there sales which was alot of there sales and They all sucked balls in the 80's and 90's. I hate them with a passion. To me it just seems that the chevy and dodge 1500's are > f150's

For one, up until '96 there was no v6 F150, but the I6 that they did have was damn near bullet proof so I don't know how you can say that they sucked balls.

And now that the new F150s are coming with the 5.0 and 6.2, it makes them that much better than the Chevys and Dodges.

They sucked get over it. Yes the motor itself was good. But Im talking about the truck.

I can't say that I agree with you. I still see plenty of them around with well over 200k on the clock and they are still going strong.

And yes I know a i6 f150 isnt a work truck, but I have used the 1500's of others and they held up better.

yeah those obs trucks are tough, my buddy has one that is beat to shit but still runs like a champ, and everything else works just fine
