What im about to say is very controversial.... Why cant people do the upgrade the old way like superchargers and turbos and not use NOS... Yeah the cost a lot to buy the supercharger and turbo but think about when your out of gas the people with turbo and superchargers are flying right past..... Supercharger and turbo you dont have to refill..... Yeah it boost giver but think about it in the old days they didn't have the NOS and those car today can crush many NOS cars....

What do you think try? Please dont be rude about different comment people put in here, keep this a good debate and not a childish fight...

Matter of preference. I dont really think Nitrous is for little boys at all... and its not like you dont have to keep s/c's oiled and maintain the deals. It takes money and know-how to run either application properly. There's cheap-o turbo kits just like there's cheap nitrous kits.

Its all in preference, nitrous is cheap power. And nitrous is not for little boys, if you think about it you need to watch for more things in a car with nitrous than a car with a turbo or supercharger. Those 2 you slap on a car and get a tune, your done with it. Nitrous you need to watch bottle temp and bottle pressure, so I guess if you think about it for a while it takes more "know how" to run a car on nitrous safely than a turbo or supercharger.

I personally don't have a preference on turbos, superchargers, or nitrous. I like them all, its all about your setup to determine what you should run.

But all in all it is not for little boys or ricers, if so then the 55 year old guy I see at the local car show every other week with a nice black chevelle with 2 10lb bottles in the nitrous in the trunk must be a little boy.

Real men use NA engine. All motor, no power adder of any sort.

Idk about it being old school. Nitrous is just as old. But I like constant, street legal power and all times. Turbo for sure though, because when I'm not hammering on the gas, my mileage can improve.

Nitrous is a simple way to have the power you want when you want it. Some people may combine FI/NO2. Either way your just increasing your fuel/air ratio. NOS simply increases the O2 level inside your cyls. So if you want a cheap way to add some decent numbers to your stock vehicle, NOS maybe more appropriate. Yeah a turbo would be nice for that power when you want it, but not everyone can afford that.

Plus have you not ever watched Fast & Furious ??? When you hit that button shit goes so fast everything become blurry !!!

Nitrous to me has always seemed ricey because I've only seen them on the Fast and Furious Movies.

But the Terror Mustang had some hooked up in Fast and Furious and it changed my perspective a little. I just don't know many guys around here who have muscles cars that run with Nitrous.

And nitrous doesn't explode from what i've been told, contrary to the movie haha

my friends all motor 95 GT walks local termi's...but just on the safe side he has a 200 shot where the passenger seat used to be for those just in case moments
