Works fine on Windows 7

I just used Acronis 2010 2 days ago on a 7 machine...

Update: I used the win 7 image backup that is available in win 7. It worked great. I had a tiny issue at first because I copied the image from a portable deive to a desk top external drive... It didn't like that so I re-did the image restore directly to the desk top external drive, used my repair cd which I also generated using win 7. It was easy peasy.

I now need to do the same on the wife's computer and she has vista home which does not have these features. Vista ultimate does.

I will try Lefty's suggestion from earlier when I go to do that one.

Thanks guys!

Word! It is most likely that the people who were having trouble with it were retarded.

I bought acronis true image home 2011 to take care of the wife's computer - worked like a charm.

Lefty: To$%ent didnt work for me. It partially installed then the install crashed. I didn't want to risk downloading any bs so I popped for the software. It was priced well at amazon so I went for it.

I've used clonezilla once or twice. It's been a while, but I remember it being able to do what you need it to. And it's free.

Nothin' wrong with purchasin' the software.

You'll love Acronis. Great piece of software IMO.
