MM's Database Error

A good laptop upgrade?
Looking to maybe upgrade to a better laptop soon, been kinda looking around but not sure what would be a good one to replace my current one.
What I have now is a Dell E1505. I upgraded some stuff on it. upgrades: -OS: Windows 7 Professional -Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo (T7200) @ 2GHz -RAM: 2GB -HDD: 500GB -UJ220 Blu Ray Burner -Bluetooth chip Definitely looking at something a bit faster that. Anything I switch to needs to have everything I have and then some. Only thing I'm open on changing is maybe not having a blu ray burner, but still needs to be able to read them. Looking for something that has an HD screen on it, HDMI output, fast processor, at least 500gb hdd, at least 6gb of ram. I would also really like to have a backlit keyboard if possible. Recommendations?

9 cell preferably, but nowadays it stays plugged in most of the time anyway.

that has intel hd switchable graphics will last 5hrs but you want i7 so only 3hrs for you just look around something like this might come up again Slickdeals Dell EPP Deals, Coupons and Promos: Dell EPP XPS 15 Laptop: Core i5-460M 2.53 GHz, 4GB DDR3, 500GB HDD, DVDRW, WiFi N, GeForce 420 1GB, 15" 1366x768 LED, Win 7 Prem - Page 2 (12/01/10 11:48am) my bud picked one up its actually a very good deal and there is an option for 9 cell which would last like 7hrs

I do like dell. I've only had one issue and that was handled very quickly by dell. So I would like to have a dell, but just don't know if they are the best right now or not.

really truthfully, lasting a really long time isn't a biggy. When I was in school I needed it to last through class, but now like I said it stays plugged in most of the time and has basically worn down this battery. Used to last a long time, but now only lasts maybe an hour. The other 2 batteries I have for this computer last maybe 30 minutes at best.
