Stealership!

Alright guys, so i took my car back to the ford house today to get the clutch fixed...again. Turns out the dealership i took it too last did not even replace everything they said they did hence the reason its back in the shop. So i drop the car off and get everything situated with the rental when I get a call back from the service manager i talked to. He informed me that sometimes they have to submit pictures to ford for their work they do and that my cai might void my warranty...I was more than a little pissed when he informed me of this and told him that was bullshit, and that if it comes down to it ill replace my cai with the factory one in ten minutes. Anyways can a fucking cai even void my warranty when the clutch is the actual problem?

I was told that pretty much any aftermarket part can void your warranty by a ford tech. He says if they get a customer thats being a dick they will find a reason to void the warranty.

They tried to void mine cause I put a bbk CIA on and a month later I threw a lean code. Took it in and I was told to come pick it up cause they thought it had a aftermarket mass air. I told them it was the stocker and went up there and got my car and put the factory induction back on and took it to another dealership.

Ive heard that it depends on the application. A CAI wont cause something to go wrong with the front right suspension components for example. But if you have a bunch of check engine lights on because of a CAI then that wouldnt work out. See what im saying? I believe it has to relate to the problem.

Google the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act. Print it out and show it to them and tell them to STFU and fix the car.
