Terrorist attacks this year

Christmas is coming up, and it seems that this year we have a LOT more threats coming! Maybe the news is just playing it up more this year?!? but it's gotten me worried more this year!

Just can't understand all the hatred and pointless killing they wish on all western countries! I wish the US would fight fire with fire...but we have to be "above" everyone else?!?

Just hope everyone here and in the world is safe this christmas!!

True. But why should we have all these strict rules of war that have resulted in American Soldiers, Marines, And Sailors killed? When they go all willy nilly killing everyone of us with a uniform on that they cant get their sights on?

That's the other side of it Drick I mean we can't just sit by but we go around ruthlessly killing in the name of Allah, Jihad, etc etc.....

Not all followers of Islam go around killing. I have met many many good Muslims during my deployments, and serve next to some as well.

I never said that. I know have a few muslim friends as well and no they are in no form or fashion a terrorist or want the death of all "non-believers". I know more about Islam then most people and considering its origins ands teachings if more people knew about Islam.

I love politics and religion. Religion seems to be the worst to discuss so unless I hear outrageous things that aren't true I stay to myself. and as for abortion. well I will keep my mouth shut. just know I = pro-life. that is all.

I sure hope there's not another terrorist attack. For one because of the potential for lives to be lost, and additionally because of the war imposed on the offending country and even tougher security in airports.

I do not know much about Islam's teachings, but it seems that many Americans have a mindset that a majority of it's followers will wreak havoc on those who do not coincide with their religious beliefs.

And finally, I have mixed views on abortion, but I lean strongly towards pro-life. Rather not discuss it though as it's a very sensitive subject.
