How do you check your background?
Like for tickets or misdemenors or anything criminal?

contact the highway patrol. thats who missouri goes through. it cost like 25 bucks and takes a week or 2. could vary state by state though

they usually charge you a fee to view it....

BUT if you want...go get pulled over and im sure the officer would be happy to look it up for you

It's not like a credit report..... there should be nothing in your background you don't know about. Cops have to verify who you are before they can set charges... Just saying...

i've seen people get arrested for things under a false name. hell i've had a few prisoners/probationers whom we know as another name only because they were convicted of identity theft. it happens all the time.

to check your background you can likely go to your local police department. call their station and see what they say about how to process it. it'll be different in every state/county.

In CT I did this because I wanted to know what was on there. Looking at starting a new job come spring. Pretty much starting all over again and for me its "I have no time to play around" on this. Went to my local Police station picked up a form that requested criminal history report and sent it to the State Police Unit. The form had two ways to go about this, with you getting fingerprinted or without. I chose not to get fingerprinted for it costed 75 dollars to submit it and another x amount of cash for the town Police to do the fingerprinting, and then arranging a time to get the fingerprinting done. So I went with the lesser and spent 50 dollars for the information. Strangley enough there was nothing on there. Why I have no idea. From reading on here I did not know you could go to the court clerk. I'm going to give that a try and see what happens.

You can also have fun with this for free. Not everything shows up. When I was put on 6 months probation my name was on there, when 6 months had passed, my name was taken off.

GThe only reason I ask is because I'm curious of the tickets insurance is going to see, Because i claimed 894 in court.
