LOL... so i was crusing around in the wrangler in the blizzard and i took the jeep up on my apartments lawn and was in about 8-12 inches of snow when all of a sudden i started driving through a 40 foot long 3 foot high snow drift....

it came up so quick i didn't even realize we were that deep, next thing i know, wrangler just comes to a stop.... ok, no biggie, go to pop her in 4 whl low and wtf holy shit my 4whl select popped right out of the transfer case.

so here i am, trapped on my lawn of my apartment complex in the middle of a snow drift that was only getting higher and higher by the second. i have no way to even drive the car cause i can't get her in gear due to not being able to select a drive system. the shift is just floating in the rubber...I finally just jammed the thing in, and got her in gear. i had to run through the complex to my apartment, grab my shovel, run back, then dig the jeep out for about 30 min.

we finally get her out, i'm backing up, backing up, backing up, bam, i hit a bench, pretty much destroyed it.

I just hope no one was looking outside their windows when this happened.. LOL

That's what happens when you drive a non-Ford American car. A Ford Raptor would have torn right through there no problem

i'm pretty sure the 3 feet of snow i was stuck in would have stopped her dead in her tracks just like my jeep was...and my jeep is about 20 years old dude, shit breaks

Anyway. Funny you should talk about knowing your vehicles limits. I was driving earlier today and this person stopped dead in front of my causing me to slam my brakes about as hard as I ever had to with this car. All I can say is good brakes on the RX-8. Very very good brakes.
