I had three dogs up until may of last year; Lacey, our golden retriever chow mix was hit by a pickup truck and the driver left her to die in the road. Lacey could not be identified because kids in the neighborhood admitted to removing her collar when they were playing with her. I dont know about the cruelty laws in florida, but things like that should not be allowed to happen either.
People like croley should have the same penalties applied to them as though these dogs were human, I'm glad Ohio is finally strengthening their laws but how many lives lost besides these eight did it have to take before they finally paid attention?

What I'm wondering is why those dogs that have families were at that kennel long enough to starve in the first place? That time had to be at least a couple of weeks. The longest we ever board our dogs is a few days and they are kept at the animal hospital where my girlfriend works. They are checked on twice a day there.

Im not going to watch because altho I can see humans with a leg blown off or legs blown off and not get un easy because I look at it from a professional hospital stand point.

I CANNOT stand to see animals get abused like that and their owners do it. Its not that im a PETA activist or anything (quite the opposite actually) or that I picket to stop animal abuse. I just cant stand to see something that is helpless just get the shit beat out of it and die because these humans are such big fucking pussys that they wont do it to another person because you know it wouldn't turn out the same.

People that blatantly abuse animals like that are horrible and should be put to death. Because honestly if they cannot respect a helpless being then they have no respect for anything.

It would be the same as beating up your grandmother or a handicap person (neither of which could defend themselves) Id love to see those guys who do these things to get their damn skulls crushed and left to die

they coudldnt prosecute the guy on all 15 charges because when the cops showed up and saw the dead dogs and some alive ones dying there they grabbed bolt cutters and went into the property without a search warrant so they cant get him on everything

Im not into leaving my dogs in some kennel, but i do understand sometimes u have an emergency or a business trip and u have no choice but to someone that runs a business and should love and care for the dogs, its just disturbing

Ok, THIS is TERRIBLE. but, How was there time for 7 dogs to starve to death? These dogs probably didn't all arrive at the same time.. and its obvious that other conditions weren't up to par, did these people not INSPECT the kennel before boarding their dogs? If I were to ever board my dogs ( which I probably WOULD NEVER) I would insist on inspecting the place Top to bottom, every room, every square inch. I often showed people around the kennels, I was always happy to do so. .Unless these dogs all came before the kennel went to shit, and it was a few weeks or months before this shit started going down. I know people who have had to board their dogs for a month or so at a time, due to certain circumstances.

I used to work at a kennel.. It was a decent kennel but I personally would NEVER board my dogs there..not due to care, but the way the kennels were set up, I didn't think it was safe. There was a guy who worked there with me.. a large guy, in his 40s, he was the groomer..He was "buddy buddy" with my supervisor.. I HATED this guy, dogs would come in to be groomed and he would slam dogs into the bath tubs, and used water so hot that I couldn't even keep my hand in it, he would always clip the dogs nails too short and would cause their quicks to bleed ( the actual pink toe part inside their nails) I finally got fed up and complained about him.. The next day I was "laid off"


Although there are good kennels out there, I just can not trust strangers with my animals. Someone may look trustworthy on the outside, but, you just never know. My animals stay with family members when I travel.


This guy deserves to be starved to death,, to die a slow painful death.. just like the dogs had to.

i wish i ran into someone that was abusive towards animals, cant stand people like that
