Spartacus-Gods of the Arena

I had been waiting a long time for season 2, which is actually a prequel to season 1. If you havent seen this show on Starz, well Jupiters cock! Go and watch season 1, it is available if you look around...like "Spartacus S01e01 DIVX", yeah search that.

Give it 2 or 3 shows and you will be hooked.

The main character, Spartacus, isnt in this season because he is being treated for lymphoma. I hope he kicks its ass like he kicked ass in the show, and comes back next season.

And yeah, its the workout that alot of us are doing right now.

I'm not going to lie, I'm one excited motherf%#$er for this show lol. The GF and I watched the entire first season and no shit, it is badassively epic haha. I'm def looking forward to watching this next season.

Blood and Sand was badass. I'll have to wait for this to come to Netflix or Hulu before I can watch it though.

Yes the show is really brutal and epic! it has everything you want in a show. Ive been watching it on Netflix and im almost done with the first season.

i just finished season one !!! it was sooo good. I am sad that sparticus wont be in this season. He is delicious. I will prob wait till it comes to netflix as well.

God's of The Arena isn't really a season per say. It's more like a miniseries that is a prequel to season 1. They were filming Season 2 when the guy playings Spartacus fell ill. So once he his better they will wrap up filming season two. So we should get a lot of Spartacus in the near future.

Hate to burst everyone's bubble (I am a huge fan of the show) but the part of Spartacus has been recast for season 2.

Here is the info on it (no I don't like the idea of it being recast)

The Australian film and TV actor Liam McIntyre has officially been chosen to replace Andy Whitfield in the title role of Spartacus in Starz’ second season of the thrilling series. Whitfield, many may recall, stepped down from the role due to health issues. Production is scheduled to begin in New Zealand by Spring 2011.

Chris Albrecht, the President and CEO of Starz, says in the press release:

“Since no one can really replace Andy, we realized that we should instead find an actor who can truly lead ‘Spartacus’ forward,” Albrecht notes. “It was important to us to have Andy endorse the idea of recasting this part, which he did in the same heroic manner that he’s dealt with his whole ordeal. And that, coupled with our fortune in finding a young actor with the gladiator credentials and the acting ability of Liam, makes it easier for us to keep this hit franchise going.”

Not sure season 2 can be better then season 1, but my god, this 6 episode pequel is going to be insane, I saw it last night and can't wait till next Friday.

Yeah I saw that, but I thought they meant the guy that just won in the street fight.

That sucks then, especially with all the other new characters needed for a second season.
