That looks likes it could be sick..... If it works lol. Blew the tires off on low boost? Any idea on what their goal is for HP and torque?

No, that was a baseline run. My guess instead of releasing some random XXXrwhp number and people go blah blah it should make more etc. They are waiting to get a dialed in more.

I'm not expecting them to make the structural changes needed to handle that much lol. No fun if they twist the body too much and lose control. They seem too intent on the blower and power from the vids I've seen to work on the frame and suspension.

I love it. Though its almost a little on the strange side, old school blower popping out of a new shelby's hood. I want to see how that works with the efi and all that, because from just this video it seems like its a completely custom one-off job. As sick as it may be, ultimately I feel like there's more efficient ways they could have made an LS Ball Busting ride.

Not that I don't think its slick as hell, or wouldn't give one (maybe even both) testicles to drive.

seems terribly inefficient to me. the blower wasnt even wound up at all. cool idea, but it needs alot of work

^ that blower not even wound up probably makes 600-700rwhp. Im sure it would make 450-500 N/A alone

Hey guys here some answers for ya -

Car was a GT mustang that was purchased after a fire. It was completely rebuilt using GT500 body parts.
The engine is a 5.4 iron block with 04 Cobra 4 valve heads and cams.
It has a GT500 lower that was custom modified to adapt the 6-71 blower.
It runs a factory GT computer and drives like a stock mustang should.
It has a 5 speed and a 8.8 rearend.
The owner of Fastlane (Melvin) built this car himself including all paint, body, engine, blower modifications, etc. It's got a lot of time and effort into it to make it look as simple as it does.

The current configuration is for pump gas and only 14 pounds of boost. Expected horsepower at this setting is around 650rwhp. Once the boost is turned up aggressively and using race gas, this should jump up to "internet expected" numbers.

This car was built to be a street car that can be driven anywhere, but at the same time be different from every other mustang out there.
