If it was an unreported accident and the vehicle history report comes up clean, do you think the dealer would have disclosed the accident?

^yeah thats what im saying, so it must show up on the car fax. I'm surprised they said anything about it at all in the ad, but if it didnt show up in the carfax, then theres no chance they would have disclosed it.

It is possible that the repair work isnt the best and they think that most people would notice so they figure they might want to eliminate the amount of pissed off people to show up at their dealership by mentioning it in the add. For me, if I have a customer on a car and I know there is something about that car that I think that customer would want to know before they make the drive, I just tell them, that way I don't waste my time or theirs.
