Spike requested on my FB that i post this video here in the club house, i guess just for me to get my ass chewed and i dont care right now cuz i've had enought to drink, that i dont care. So yea. Here you go. 2.0 weed wacker Zetec 5 speed with intake, header, straight pipe, UDP, gutted back half interior, etc.

have u tried manually shifting it? you can get more rpms that way

damn it Spike, pay attention

Its a damn stick shift! IDK WTF is wrong with it. Its been like that since i got it. There have been maybe 4 times that i've gotten it up to 6500 RPM, but 99.9% of the time, rev limiter kicks in at 5900RPM

i thought the other ride was a 5 speed,
i thought that one was auto since the shifting was so seamless and clean.

I'm calm.

My Tempo started as an auto, but is getting a 5 speed swap. This is my ugly tan Mercury. Also, if you listen closely, especially to the second video, you can hear it hit rev limiter both times i shift.

Oh, how i wish that was only 1/4 throttle.

As for the Vtec crap, keep it coming. It's amusing, although my car is a Zetec, not a Vtec.
