and if anyone knows me or has been in any gun thread with me then they know thats along the same lines as al sharpton kissing a white man.

it was my cousins brand new 22 4th gen. everything about this experience made me want to hate it with a passion. unfortunatley after firing a couple of clips through it i fucking loved it. god damnit i like it lol.

I actually love them now too, I have a Glock 19 in my possession and we took it out to the range twice last week. I put it on my list of CCW guns, In no paticular order - M&P, GLOCK, XD

yea this was the new gen 4 22 it definatley surprised me. like i said i wouldn't own one but it was fun. he got it on some multi buy deal at the gun shop here for 425

LoL Dennis. Glocks are fantastic firearms. They may not be the most ergonomic, or the prettiest, but they just flat out work.

i dont know man it felt like i was holding a plastic toy gun with real bullets in it lol. it shot amazing and was a absolute joy to fire off but i dont think i could get over the fact that the damn thing is plastic lol

There is nothing at all wrong with a plastic gun. For the most part, in terms of CCW guns, plastic > metal.

i dont carry. the state of missouri wont let a non citizen ccw. i do own a ruger p90th though.

I think all three Glock, S&W M&P, and XD/XDm are all great guns and would trust my life to any of them.

i have no clue. all i know is he got it for x-mas and never shot it until today. so through its first box of shells it was trouble free. i would love to have me a xd though. i think the whole plastic thing would just take some getting used to

My parents told me my birthday present was to pay for my CC permit, but i have not had the cash to get a gun i like yet. I was never really interested in Glocks as they fail in the looks department, but considering a carry weapon is more of a tool (because very few people should ever see it) the quality/safety make a good counterpoint.

Anyway, this thread made me go check out their site... the 33 caught my eye... a .357 subcompact with a 9 round clip? I think I need one

They fail in the looks department? :\ I hate hearing that. Looks should not be the deciding factor in choosing a gun.
