trying to figure out this Homegroup network thing

We have a little homegroup setup at our house. There is the base computer that is plugged into the internet router. Then my laptop connects wireless to that, and so does our Samsung TV with the external speaker setup.

Both computers are Windows 7.

It is all working perfectly except i can't figure out how to get my ipod touch to be a part of the homegroup. I can get the wireless on it, but I want to be able to play the music that is on my ipod, on the tv speakers wirelessly.

I know I could plug an aux cord into the speakers and do music, but I want to be able to access the ipod's music from the tv (or computers). I don't have the music on my laptop itune. I got my music from other peoples' itunes.

Is this possible?

TL DR: How can i get my ipod to play on the TV wirelessly?

Only windows 7 computers will be able to get on the "homegroup". Not sure if vista computers can, but yeah, no way for it to be "in" the windows home group. It can however be shared on the network while you are wired in. To stream music by wifi, I belive you need one of these.
