My Suburban gets 18-19mpg consistently on the highway. Every Escalade I've seen come thru pulls 17-18 mpg. That isn't bad gas mileage at all for a truck. I need a truck. I have a trailer to pull and a shit box import definitely won't pull a trailer. I also prefer big SUVs over pick up trucks for reasons stated in earlier posts. How many kids? 3 and a wife. When we vacation I like everyone to be comfortable and have space. I also like my kids to be able to watch TV on long journeys if they wish to do so.
