New verizon phone.

Looking to get the wife and i new phones here this month. She's been using the blackberry pearl with a broken screen, and i've got some shitty pantech touch screen phone.

I've been weighing the options on what to get...

LG Ally VS740 Cell Phones & Mobile Phones - LG Electronics US

LG Fathom VS750 Cell Phones & Mobile Phones - LG Electronics US

Which one of these would ya'll recommend? these are two that im a vendor for and can get cheap.

I've also considered getting the iphone when it comes to verizon.

Or what would you guys recommend? im going to be buying it out right and just putting it on my existing contract.

i have the driod 2 and i love it, to me no sense in buying a cheap phone they always suck. And like you said iphone. id personally go with the driod because i like my key board but to each their own

The Ally is a pretty sweet phone, especially since it just got android 2.2. BUT it has one of the weaker processors on the market, so don't expect it to be wonderfully fast.

I dont nessicarilly need something super fast or anything. the majority of the time im on my computer at work or on my laptop at home. I just want something thats going to preform good when i need it to.

I like having my GPS, good photos, good music, some decent internet browsing, and have some of the cool apps every one is always bragging about.

I have an original Droid that Im trying to get rid of for 75 bucks. I just SBF'd it to stock Unrooted, but I can easily re-reoot it for ya.....

I also have an original droid im looking to get rid of. I did not like the droid operating system, so im switching to the iPhone... ordering it tomorrow night. Sucks, cause this is my third droid and this one is only 3 weeks old, because my last one the speaker went bad, and was replaced under warrantee.

Or did HTC come out with an actual "droid 2" model? is that just the system inside it?

iPhone is still the best phone available.
If you don't have a rush. Wait till June/July when the next one is most likely gonna be even better.. But the iPhone 4 great.

Droid Incredible FTW!

I got mine on the original launch and have never had any problems with it. Wife had a Droid X and sent it back to get herself an Incredible.

Motorola droids like chris said or get the iphone. hell, you might be eligible for an early upgrade
