For that price, you better pick that damn thing up. Interior is an easy fix.

It hasn't been started in over 3 years so I don't think id try to start it. Id propbably get it towed to my house and pull the motor and get some forged internals and get the heads worked on and possibly a bigger turbo. Id replace the transmission fluid too. Any other ideas for what I should do to it since its been sitting for so long. Oh and deff pull the tank and empty whatever gas was in there.

yea for that price I could always part it out if I really wanted to but i'd really rather get it running again and make it a fun quick truck. I just think in the end it'll be more fun than the mustang just cuz who expects to get thier ass kicked by an suv that looks like that!

for that price I dont care if it is rusty. I would not pull it all apart, tow it home, get a new battery, change all the fluids and gas and crank her off and see if she starts, then go from there.

They didnt come like that from the factory it was a dealer installed option I believe.

I think I may just sell the mustang and just use that money to finance this build that way I dont have to touch my bank account. Ive been doing some research and these cars can reach into the 10's with a fair amount of work and still be totally docile on the street.

finally went and took a look. the outside is in pretty poor shape. two of the rims are bent. It seems the interior is in better shape than the outside. Its gonna need a new fender, side skirts, rear bumper, front bumper, grill, the whole thing needs to be repainted. Also my cousin wasnt there so I couldnt take a look under the hood.

Its looking like its gonna be a pretty big project but I think it would be fun.

That all looks cosmetic. The rust doesn't look that bad.... If it runs you really have yourself a awesome deal there.

yea. Since it's been sitting for 8 years instead of the 5 I thought it was i'm hoping that a full fluid change, draining the gas tank and swapping out the plugs and the battery will be enough to get it running.
