Well I'm leaving the Car Business

Well, February 28 will be my last day as a sales consultant. I was offered a promotion at my side job as a regional recruiter for the office of Admissions at my University. Obviously I can't make as much at this job, but it's steady pay, half the hours for comparable pay, and I get to travel home (I'm assigned Nevada as my state for recruitment) a lot more and get paid to do so. Plus, since I'm still in school and doing Student teaching, this job just makes my life muuuuuuuch easier. So I'm taking the new job and leaving the Ford dealership in at the end of the month. I've got two more car deals lined up, including a deposit on a new 2011 Roush

Good news for you all - my AutoCheck account is still good till the end of the year so if you need vehicle history reports I can still get those.

I'm going to miss the car business for sure, especially working for Ford, but this new job will be much better for my life as far as keeping a steady income into our house and keeping me a little more rested considering my new hours are half of what they were at the dealer.

Thanks bud! I'm actually really excited for the new job! I leave for Vegas for my first recruitment trip/college fair on March 14, and then head straight to Reno the 15th and then back home to Colorado the next day.

University of Northern Colorado. I'm happy to be working for my University because I really love our school. It's an awesome place.

I had training from 11-2:30 today and I really enjoyed it. Monday will be my first day and I'm really excited.

My first full day was yesterday, and I love my new job! I can't even express how awesome it is! It's lots of desk work, but I really enjoy what I'm doing now. I'm actually on my way out the door right now for day two and my schedule is already filled. It'll be a busy, but awesome day I think.
