i was wondering how long a thread about that was going to take to apear and hey props to toyota ive driven them ive seen them run 300k miles or more without a tick their quality durable cars shit we tried to blow up a toyota truck once for ever the drivers side floor board was rusted out we called it the trash ejection hole and i think that fucking thing still runs today that was years ago lol as a dd id buy one in a second

Ya on that top gear tv show or w/e they tried to destroy a toyota, they strapped it down and let the ocean go at it, lit it on fire, dropped a trailer on it, put it ontop of a building then demolished the building. They fixed it with regular tools and the shit still kept on going

I h8 toyota cuz they're cutting into american auto companies' profits.. DEEP.. originally they were thinkin oh cool we can sell our cars in the US too!!! now they're thinkin hmmmm how can we out do american auto companies...

i know i shouldn't expect toyota to be innocently building cars and trucks and not try to cut into our country's own businesses... but just the thought of ford being pushed out of the way to give toyota more room to sell pisses me off... and they try to market to domestics guys by throwing crap in like "...and i feel better knowing it was put together here in the US".... like that's gonna mask the fact that half the money's makin its way outa the US

My only beef with Toyota is they make ass-ugly cars, and no performance cars since the supra. The supra wasnt bad looking, but the wing was ridiculous. Would definitley delete that, especially if im paying almost 50k for one new.

Theyre too econobox for me, but maybe that will change.

u kno at 1 point in time, japan limited the number of cars that cud be imported from other countries to stimulate their economy and get their car companies rolling... maybe the asshats in office can do something for us besides ruin our healthcare systems..

I agree that there aren't too many decent looking 'Yotas comin out these days, but I am sure they realize that they need a RWD halo car pretty soon or a sportscar, otherwise they will lose their youth market to Dodge (Challenger) Chevy (Camaro) and Ford (Mustang).
Unfortunately, it will probably be out of 80% of everyone's price range when it DOES come out.

And i happen to like my ridiculous wing.
Oh, and so does the guy down the street that has a supra wing on his Mustang.

supra wing on a stang = gay

but i think the wing fits the supra.... without the wing u couldn't call it a supra... dnt get me wrong... i'm not sayin the wing is what totally made the car, but the wing is part of its coolness

but a stang wrks with or without its wing... i personally like stangs without their wing
