So last night I was driving my girlfriend home just havin a good time being with her. Well when I pulled up to a stop light I notice the traditional blue wrx sti like all the other ones out there. After I noticed the car I noticed his couple of decals and his licenseplate which said "boostin5." Well after seeing all the other vanity plates in tidewater it is truly something to laugh about, but then I looked at the back of it, and noticed the GIGANTIC larger than supra rs coffee can muffler. So I decided what the heck and rolled my window down to listen to it idle, and got a huge suprise. That thing didn't have that little whiney honda civic ricer sound to it. This thing has a low rumble and gave off a sound similar to a burp, but in a very low roar. Then once the light turned green he just drives off since we are just checking each others cars out, not tryin to show off or anything and this thing sounds amazing. Even though it sounded amazing I still laughed about his license plate since we are in about 3rd gear and I have yet to hear a turbo spool up, well just my luck right after I thought that I heard something start to spool up, and then heard a blow off valve go off. This guy completely has my respect for the work he has done to car that I noticed. I would love to talk to him more about the things he has done. This is the rare kind of guy in Tidewater that wasn't a ricer, but was actually a tuner. He had a car that could make my heart beat faster, and adrenaline run through my body.

I know. there are a few of those around here. There's a guy w/ a blue civic that says "boostfed" on the license plate. Thing blows like 650hp at the wheels and looks really stock.
Also here's a pic of one I ran against at Northeast a few weeks ago. Thing ran a 7.2xx @ 110 mph IN THE 1/8TH!! Side by side with my Mustang and it was so frickin loud I couldn't hear my car at all. There's a reason the guy is holding his ears in the pic. It had a turbo about the size of a basketball under the hood.

Imports may have a small platform to work with, but jesus they respond well to mods. I wish more guys in TWR were like those guys.
