Windows Vista
So I liked vista until I had an update problem. I tried istalling a security update, but my pc must have received a corrupted file over the transfer because my status bar wouldn't go anywhere after a certain point. My pc wouldn't shut down until it installed, to which it wouldn't. Now I have a RAM or hard drive problem and I'm a week to a month out until I get the new parts. So I just wanted to know what your thoughts are on Vista

i dont see any unix os's on there..... they all are on their knees compared to any unix OS

Not a fan...
It is far to much of a resource hog... I know you can turn stuff off and such but still... I run Office 2007 myself and alot of people hate office 2007...I dont mind it...Its good once you figure out how to set it so prior versions of office can open the documents... Give vista a year or two... |

Vista is bad news. Do a search on it and do some reading. You best not have any copyrighted videos or music on your computer if you run Vista. And if Vista feels something is not legit, whether it be software or multimedia, Vista will dispose of if for you.
