should i leave the armor at half(ish) sleeve or go full? had it like this for awhile, and always wondered if i should add more?

a friend of mine had something similar, that covered his chest too like a plate over one of his pecs. I wouldnt go full sleeve with it, but you can get more detail in what you have, more shading and some blue shades to give it more depth. The work my buddy has looks almost like its real.

like blueish glare off metal, that would be awesome, i wonder if they can do that after its already shaded

I think it looks cool. Chainmail all the way down your arm tho i don't think would look good. I was going to suggest something like in gladiator movies how they have one shoulder covered in armor and like a strap across the chest. But you have a tat there.

yeah that little bit of chainmail was a looong process, i wouldnt even think about having it go all the way down...would not be.... fun, at all

I think maybe adding another inch or two to the chainmail would look good. But yeah, going all the way wouldn't be fun (I recently got my most detailed tattoo - wasn't bad until like the 10th time going around the shading and the endorphins wore off so it hurt like a bitch until the artist was done) and I think it would start to look weird.

haha yeah when they were doing the strap under the arm with the chain links, it started to swell, after an hour of shading. but he kept on going over and over the same area,it was pretty brutal

That is a really cool idea for a shoulder tat. I wish I would have thought of something like that. I'd like a half sleeve but, I'm tired of all the bs tribal sleeves.

haha this guy at my gym has THE ugliest tribal tat ever, usually tribal tats have some sort of pattern but this guy just has random tribal lines all over his arm.. fail

i wouldnt make it go any further down. maybe add some more shading to it or something like they said. It looks best as a half sleeve, but all in all its your body and you just have to do what makes you happy. Cool idea though. I love gladiators lol.

i want more color, especially on the underside of my arm, but im not sure if its too late or not cuz its already all shaded in
