The best part was on the cover. It said: "V8 SMACKDOWN! - Mustang GT VS. Type-R!"

LOL, then when you actually read the article you get the full picture. To be fair to SCC, they initially tried to test them on a bumpy & twisty mountain road and supposedly the Integra was soooo much faster that they decided to move to a smooth test track to "give the Stang a chance". Who knows if that was true or not.

that article is pretty biased as well. they say they want to be all scientific and objective, yet they chose a mountain road course to determine street manners... idk about you, but 70% of my driving is on the interstate. i might see a mountain road once a year.

they also fail to mention the ITR's weight distribution and how that likely played a part in it's shitty road coarse times. so much for being a "race" car.

There's two things I've always noticed with Mustangs vs. Type R's...

Type R's are a limited production vehicle...thus, they are more expensive. You could buy the Mustang and a few mods for the same price as a stock Type R. Omnomnom ITR.

The second thing is, girls dig Mustangs. Most don't even know what a Type R is, and when you tell them it's a Acura/Honda...you get the picture.

I'm kinda surprised by the performance of the Gt in the spec sheet, It's slalom and stopping distance are better than what I thought they would be.
