Repo question
My neighbor has always been a real nice guy. When I first moved in here, he cut my grass without even asking once just as a gesture. He always seems polite and takes care of his stuff.
A few days ago, this fat lady comes to my door being all abnoxious trying to ask my daughter questions about "the neighbor". The lady tried to confirm his name but my daughter didnt know. Then she was asking her things like "when was the last time you seem him in his truck" and stuff like that. She left my daughter this real cheap looking business card that was titled "Investigator". When my little girl told me this I was pissed that someone would be "interrogating" her like that. I called the number on the card and it was a towing and recovery company. I told them if they bothered my daughter again Id be ready to shoot them in the knee caps...nobody should be asking a little girl questions like that about a neighbor. Hell, she plays with the other little girls next door and somehow, she just doesnt need to know the financial situation of their family. I went and told Ray (my neighbor) about the situation and he said times have been tough and they cut his hours back at work. I offered him a few bucks if he needed it but I think it may have just made him feel worse. Can the repo company come to my door asking my little girl personal questions about my neighbors situation????? I thought that was against collection laws. anyone know????? |

Sorry man. I can't answer your question but I don't blame you for calling and raising hell about what happened. I have never heard of anything like that happening though.

ja
![]() anyway it varies state by state. here in missouri all they cant do is break into something to recover the vehicle. so if you know your getting repoed you just stick your car into a garage and leave it there. i would call a reputable repo company in the area not the one truck joke she was with and see if they can help you |
