You know my parents are both from Mexico but they both got their green cards before they came to the US so my brothers and I are all citizens because we were born here, the other day a classmate of my brother asked him if he was going to the rally on the 1st and my bro told her that he wasn't and you know what her response was "Well your not a TRUE mexican." I laughed so hard becuase of my brother's response, he said "Well were you born here?" and she said she was, my brother then told her "well you aren't a true mexican either.". He told her it was his choice to go to school instead of skipping so he can get a better education and a good job later in life, she didn't say much after that. All I got to say is I'm proud to be an American that owns a mustang and bwal wouldn't it be cheaper to just keep sending illegals back to Mexico or work something out with Mexico to were if the INS catches them a second time to send them to their prison system instead of sending them to our already overcrowded prisons where they get a place to sleep at night and 3 sqaure meals a day, to which they can also work to earn something at the taxpayer expense? just a thought.

I think we need immigration reform in a BAD way. Obviously mexico is a fucked up country if so many folks want to leave, so I say we gotta let more in here LEGALLY, and at the same time, tighten up the borders further. Maybe a guest worker program where they register with the government, pay taxes, and we know who the hell they are, then they're free to go back to mexico if they want. They obviously won't be eligible for social security or able to vote, and they'll have to pay for healthcare just like the rest of us, but at least the ones who want to come here to work will be able to do so and have a chance at bettering their lives. Furthermore, if they live here, have a clean record, and work/pay taxes for 5 years, and learn English, let them get on a fast track to citizenship if they so desire. Basically, you do the AMERICAN thing and reward their hard work.

You say you are American, but what is an American?

You may be born here, but so are some Mexicans, Italians, Germans, Polish, Africans, French, Canadian, Chinese, Japanese, etc.

America is the melting pot of the world. The "land of the free" where all cultures can come together as one.

Only thing that makes you American is the fact you were born on stolen soil. True Americans are the indians who were here first.
